Mike Franco, conservative candidate for Chair of the Massachusetts Republican Party addressed a gathering of Republicans in the town of Hingham, Massachusetts, south of Boston, last Saturday.

Franco, a staunch conservative activist with strong grassroots support, is facing opposition from more liberal Republicans and their supporters who oppose his promotion of conservative ideas.

Yes, the “LIBERAL” Republicans. Those wonderful people who have succeeded in giving the PDRM (Peoples Democratic Republic of Massachusetts) a one party government. The people who have enabled the ascendency of Barney Frank and Ted Kennedy. The people who have enabled the rise of those who gave the PDRM the Big Dig, an enormous hole in the ground filled with taxpayer money. Keep it up, liberal republicans, another couple of elections and there will be NO republicans in Boston at all. The American revolution started with people throwing TEA into Boston Harbor. The next one will begin with people throwing the politicians into Boston Harbor, or will that violate the clean waters act?
