When I lived in La-La Land, those celebs weren't so warm whenever we attempted to spearfish at their beachfront properties. They hated when the public used their beaches even though the law said it was public land. All we got from celebs were a lot of dirty looks.

Given most of them barely have a high school education, why care what they think?

They carry way too much weight with children and people who get their information from TV. This “servant of obama” sound bite could be a great one to spread around. I just wonder if the obama-supporting public would understand what’s wrong with it. :)

I posted a comment on their myspace page yesterday it was lengthy but basically asking if they were promoting unity and community service during the last 8 years. If they had ever volunteered to help military families, wounded soldiers, built parks, volunteered at after school programs during the Bush administration, and what compelled them now to want to promote these things? They removed my comments and eventually blocked me from posting when I repeatedly ask for my comments to be put back up. Censorship at it's finest. They believe in free speech as long as the speech agrees with them.

Sounds like a parenting issue to me.

All of these solemn pledges will be forgotten tomorrow when the hype has died down.
What disturbs me is the way these people view the relationship between the citizen and the government. Only a generation ago, it was formulaic for a politician to pretend that his job was to serve his constituents. Now we have our Hollywood betters lecturing us about how we have to volunteer to serve our politicians.
Do you suppose Ashton and Demi are going to fire all of their accountants and just file the 1040 EZ and pay the government whatever taxes they owe, before deductions? Or do you suppose they are going to keep those accountants busy looking for each and every way to save a dollar on the tax bill?

For the record, they are NOT, repeat NOT, from Farmington. They’re like the rest of the liberal retards in the Four Corners/Taos/Santa Fe area: interlopers and transplants.

I was always astounded when I saw pictures of Adolph Hitler, with thousands of adoring Germans surrounding him. I thought to myself, "why did they support him, when they knew how evil he was?"
I'm not saying Obama is Hitler--not one bit. But...he has all the propaganda in place to do anything he wants. Any dissenters better have a strong stomach, because they will be pilloried by the MSM, these idiot celebrities, and other wanna-be Obama-ites.

What “servant of Obama” soundbite? I must have missed that in the video. Where is it? I’m trying to explain to my friend (who has finally woken up some about this and is starting to get a little creeped out) that this is becoming cultish.
