Police shoot woman suspected of wounding man with arrow (CHL holders respond)

A woman was shot by a police officer and two civilians after she walked into a northwest Houston office building and shot a man with a bow and arrow Monday afternoon, authorities said.

Witnesses told investigators Julie Parker, 30, came into the Texas Components Corp.. office in the 1600 block of West Sam Houston Parkway with a bow and arrow and what appeared to be a handgun about 3 p.m., said Houston Police Department Sgt. John Chomiak.

The early print edition gives credit to concealed handgun license holders for thwarting the potential outcome.....but the new online edition scrubbed the facts.... GO FIGURE!

What type of holster would you need to conceal carry a bow?

I don’t know, but my kids and I have been talking about the fact that should guns become very illegal and scarce, there are always bows and arrows.

Not as efficient and easy to use, but potentially as effective, nevertheless.

And there’s no permits required yet.

I'm not whining, moaning, or trying to be the posting police, but I would politely ask that any future post that relates to shooting or the Second Amendment have the keyword "banglist" added to it.

I’m not sure on the holster but the concealing garment would be a killer. Maybe a dome tent with a hole in the roof for your head and a hole for your feet?
