Fortunately, he had to work and was spared the inaugural garbage. He detests Obama and thinks we’re headed for socialism. We both supported Fred Thompson at first and were sad to see that a true conservative could not get the party’s support.
We both recognize the historical nature of the election, but it’s hard to feel happy about it when you think the country is headed down the road to ruin. On top of that, we lean a little toward Sharpton’s and Jackson’s view that Obama hasn’t been ‘down with the struggle.’ The guy is unfamiliar with the black experience in this country and probably isn’t even an American.
