It wouldn’t exactly be news in DC but if the anarchists get fired up, it will get ugly fast. The media can’t ignore something that obvious.

I never saw any mention of the anarchists at th '04 inauguration, but I assure you they were there - when a black policewoman tried to get them to stop throwing snowballs at the people waiting to get through security, they rushed her, knocked her down, and started kicking her in the head before the other cops could grab their riot gear and go beat the crap out of them with their nightsticks. I took pictures but they didn't come out very well.
