I am with you - I just can’t listen to it. It makes me want to shout at everyone and ask them what on earth is the matter with them. How can so many people be so blind.
No radios, no tvs, I have had enough. I just made a call from work and got put on hold. What do you think I heard but the news, gushing so much I almost hung up.
I completely understand how an entire nation was taken in by Hitler.

I smell a disaster coming....all the chaos in the street while the chosen ones dine and wine. Kinda like Paris on July 14,1789 ....

I’m sure they are upset that thousand dollar bills didn’t start raining down from the heavens the minute the one was sworn in.

I am thinking about the hassle to get from the Mall to watch the Parade. Barriers will be considered optional for some attendees.
The National Guard is on Pennsylvania Avenue. I do not remember that they were needed for either of the Bush Inaugural Parades that I attended.

Oh dear. That sounds dangerous. So glad you’re okay. Yes, it would be difficult for the older people and children.
I did hear, earlier this morning and before the festivities started, that an elderly woman was struck by a train. Haven’t heard more since.

Metro officials say someone fell onto the subway tracks at a downtown station and was struck by a train,
That's awful. I can imagine the press of the crowd on the platform, pushing people over the edge. Precisely why I stopped going to big events in DC when I lived there.
the Gallery Place station on the Red Line was closed after the accident and trains were turning around at Judiciary Square and Farragut North.
Jeez, as if travel on the Metro wasn't going to be bad enough.
