I ducked behind the driver's A-pillar when a deer layed itself across my windshield. Survived enough to finish my drive home even though I no longer had a windshield and I had a dead deer in the passenger's seat.
We all come from a long line of survivors.

The same flight does not mean the same aircraft...
No big deal after it's over. Likely similar, on a minor scale though I was going >60 mph, to Sullenberger's thought process. One does what one has to. Other folks provide judgment after.
Events seem to move slowly at the time, but the record of events is permanent after the fact.
As before, we all come from a long line of survivors. Just the way things work out.

Both, Boeing and Airbus aircraft are built “global”. There is no “american made” airplane anymore.
The “american made” Boeing is as american as your “american made” Mexico built Chevy Silverado.

Given the issues they are apparently having assembling major components built all over the world, yes.
