Today, Bushs legacy to his successor is two unresolved wars, a global image that is deeply tarnished, and the greatest economic crisis in modern times. All Lies.
We won the war in Iraq despite the defeatists and traitors at home who did everything under the sun to make us lose it. We won because of the great leadership of President Bush and the incredible bravery and professionalism of our US military.
Global image is tarnished by people who hate America or are jealous of America. Everytime we show the world that we are the only superpower our so called allies get very jealous because they know how little and ineffective they are.
President Bush has nothing to do with the financial crisis. It was the liberal democrats who forced banks to lend money to people who cannot afford it.

President Bush has nothing to do with the financial crisis. Then why was his Treasury Secretary running around promoting bailouts and doing all sorts of other unconstitutional things?
And just why did Bush sign the bailout bills into law?

And so what are the barriers that we can deal with here in Washington? Well, probably the single barrier to first-time homeownership is high down payments. People take a look at the down payment, they say that's too high, I'm not buying. They may have the desire to buy, but they don't have the wherewithal to handle the down payment. We can deal with that. And so I've asked Congress to fully fund an American Dream down payment fund which will help a low-income family to qualify to buy, to buy. (Applause.) From "President Reiterates Goal on Homeownership"President Bush has nothing to do with the financial crisis. It was the liberal democrats who forced banks to lend money to people who cannot afford it.
Tell us how using tax dollars to fund down payments for people who wouldn't otherwise be qualified or have the money is NOT Bush's idea?

I’m with you on the first part but on the subprime bust and bailout, Bush has been POTUS 8 years, he can’t skate that one scot free
maybe they should have beat up Frank-Dodd a bit more
