I used to listen to Medved as an alternative to O’Reilly, but since O’Reilly left, we get Glen Beck. I’m quite pleased with the change.
Medved is hardly a clown. He is one of the smartest conservatives on talk radio. He is also practical and pragmatic. I don’t agree with everything he says (who agrees with anyone 100% of the time), but his views are solid and respectable.
He is right, we should not pray for Obama to fail. We should pray for the country to suceed in spite of Obama’s best plans for it. In a sense, the economic issues we are having at the moment provide a kind of silver lining. Many of the thing Obama wants to spend money on will be fiscally impossible.
Clarification. It’s Obama I can’t stand to listen to.
Yeah...we get Glenn in the morning now, but the only alternative to Medved is Savage...and there have been times when Savage was actually the better choice.
I don't think anyone can match Glen Beck's creativity with those great sketches he does. He's probably my overall favorite.
I didn't say anything about agreeing with him. I find him hard to listen to, his delivery I find to be very poor. I disagree with Rush on some subjects but yet he is easy to listen to because he has a great delivery and a way of saying what he thinks. We have a couple of local talk show hosts in the area that just run me up the wall with their style so I don't listen to them.
I agree 100% - to do otherwize is to cut off our nose to spite our face.
OK. I understand what you’re saying.
We get Beck at 12:30, after the noon new. It’s perfect. Rush, Beck, and then Hannity.
We got Beck because they can claim that he is local. He graduated from high school in this county.
“And thats exactly why I will pray for President Elect Obama. I do not want to trash him as so many did with President Bush. Two wrongs surely dont make a right and I hated it when it was done to President Bush and I hate it now”
Where were you when I needed to unload my three cases of skunky Billy Beer?
I agree. Rush was absolutely right when he said that Obama’s success means the enactment of policies that are anathema to the U.S. and everything it was founded and for which it has stood for centuries. It’s too bad Medved won’t wake up to this fact.
As other FReepers have stated, I’ll give Obama the same chance that the left gave Bush.
So, If Obama is successful in his plans to eliminate any and all limitations on abortion, including the ban on partial birth abortion, we all win??? If he is successful in giving us socialized medicine, we all win??? If he is successful in “spreading the wealth” as he takes the money you worked hard to earn and gives it to someone less inclined to get off his/her rear-end, we all win???
I guess standing up for our principles and fighting against “The One’s” plans makes the rest of us losers, eh?
no need to be sorry to disagree. I misread your post. I do not want the USA to be turned into anything else either and I am willing to wait and see. I did not vote for this man but will see where it all goes.
Obama will succeed if he fails to implement his radical-socialist agenda.
Poor Medved doesn’t know what he’s talking about. It’s his loser do nothing attitude that makes Democrats stronger than Republicans.
