So there is intelligent life on this planet after all.

I am wondering if a large percentage of those that have changed their mind are the people that are dealing with all these freezing temperatures. Nothing like a deep freeze to change one's mind about global warming. FOTFLOL

Actually, I suspect a large percentage of those who have "changed their minds" are the people who simply don't give a flaming sh!t about silly fads like this when the sobering reality of economic challenges hits them square in the face like a well-aimed two-by-four.

I got some surprising good news a couple of weeks ago at a professional conference I attended where "climate change" was one of the key issues. The guy who is in charge of implementing all of these stupid "climate change" initiatives in the state where this conference was held was one of the keynote speakers, and he wasn't very optimistic at all.

He basically warned all of the people in the audience that they had no more than 12-18 months to implement whatever it is they intend to do, because after that the public is going to lose interest and find something else to be concerned about.

I've been in a very good mood since then.
