Bush is like Carter -- a former president in search of a legacy.
Bush has read enough of the signs to know he isn't going to have much of a legacy.
This commutation is better than nothing.
Sutton should be up on charges for malicious prosecution.

Quite frankly, it is a cowardly act. It has been known for more than 18 months, this was a fouled prosecution. Had bush any real courage, he would have done it long before now.
Mind you, I am pleased something was done. However, it does not change my view of Bush as just another Republican very short on conservative principles....
