I am trying to decide between changing to an independent or the protective coloration of a Democrat. I am done with the republicans or the democrats I am becomeing small l libertarian. I have been reading more and more of Richard Maybury and he is making sense.

Small l libertarians and conservatives share the same basic idea of limited government, and in that, there is much to be shared. The Constitution needs to be our rallying cry.

I am thinking of re-registering as a democrat so I am considered a constituent worth paying attention to

then voting for the most conservative candidate regardless of party. I think the future of conservatism lies in converting democrats, not changing the republican party to appeal to the ambiguous values of liberals
