North Korea vows to redraw sea boundary

SEOUL, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- North Korea Saturday vowed to "shatter" South Korea's military in an attempt to redraw the inter-Korean boundary in the Yellow Sea.
North Korea maintains the boundary line should be moved further south of where it was unilaterally drawn by U.S.-led forces at the end of the Korea War in 1953, Yonhap News Agency reported Saturday.
"Our revolutionary armed forces are compelled to take an all-out confrontational posture to shatter them," a spokesman for the North Korean military said of South Korea's navy.

N. Korea is about to start a calculated military provocation with S. Korea. Chia Head wants to show he is still "the boss," who expects groveling and appeasement from others. Further, he wants to isolate S. Korea while trying to cut some kind of deal with U.S., pressuring U.S. to cut S. Korea loose, or at least driving a wedge between U.S. and S. Korea, which is the long-term N. Korean goal.
Ping!
Not to worry. Obama’s gonna save us.
Is that picture some national landmark?
“Change” is coming......
Good thing Biden prepared us for this.
Exactly, 0 will sit down and talk this over,
Not this latest provocation, the entire KFR.
Scenario one is that an all out war breaks out and NK shells Seoul back into the stone age in a matter of hours, lets loose commando attacks all over SK and essentially causes civilian deaths that could go up into the millions making Rwanda, Congo Kinshasa, or Equatorial Guinea look like a kindergarten spat.
Scenario two is that the KFR falls, in which case you're going to have between 2 and 5 million, angry, crazed, violent NKs pouring over the DMZ and the Yalu river sacking towns and cities in a manner that would do Genghis Khan proud.
This is going to be one hell of a mess, and having “The One” calling our shots in this international crisis doesn't make me feel a whole lot better.
Hey! I recognize that background!
The last time the Norks tried to mess with the Skor navy, a Skor ship turned its Phalanx gun on the Nork ship and literally cut it in half.
Horizontally.
The USN is even less nice about these things. They still remember, and honor, the Pueblo.
And will be under orders to "be nice."
They still remember, and honor, the Pueblo.
And the CIC2B thinks they learned the wrong lesson.
Time for re-education.
These limp dicks — NK communuts, Islamic whackjobs — always sound alike. “We will obliterate you! Roast your bellies! Blah, blah, blah...”.
Koreans consider Mount Baekdu as the place of their ancestral origin and as a sacred mountain, one of the three spirited mountains; the one contained in the legendary foundation of Korea. From the beginning of history through the Three Kingdoms period, to the Goryeo and Joseon Dynasties, Koreans have spiritually depended upon the divine mountain.
The North Korean “navy” would be annihilated in a confrontation with the RoK fleet. The RoK has built an impressive number of modern destroyers and frigates to go with their various classes of patrol craft beginning in the 1990’s and are on their way to becoming a true blue-water force. The Northern navy’s primary claim to fame is a single catamaran-hull frigate which may or may not actually exist.
I have been trying to figure out what North Korea’s problem is. I think I finally got it. They want us to take them over, so we spend lots of money rebuilding them the right way.

Hey,Do,,,Long time no see-um,,,Happy New Year,,,;0)
NK’s “Bite” ain’t in their navy,,,
“Bite” is in all that Arty on the DMZ,,,
(a snip I saved)
“Over half of North Korea’s 1.2 million-man army is deployed within 90 miles of the DMZ, as are thousands of artillery systems. Because chemical weapons are best suited for delivery with larger caliber artillery pieces, it is worth noting that over the last two years the North has further increased the number of long-range 240mm multiple rocket launcher systems and 170mm howitzers, all placed in hardened sites near the DMZ. “
I think they will try to poke/push as far south(on water)
as they can,,,
Then hide behind that wall,,,
Since 1953...:0/

“This first tunnel was about 3 by 4 feet (0.9 m × 1.2 m) and extended over 1,000 meters (3,300 ft) beyond the Military Demarcation Line (MDL). When the first tunnel was discovered, it was reinforced with concrete slabs, electric power and lighting, weapons storage and sleeping areas and had a narrow gauge railway with carts, capable of allowing approximately 2,000 soldiers per hour to traverse it. The second was discovered on March 19, 1975, of similar length, between 50 and 160 meters (160 and 520 ft) below ground, but was larger than the first, approximately 2 by 2 meters (6.6 ft × 6.6 ft). The third tunnel was discovered on October 17, 1978. Unlike the previous two, the third tunnel was discovered following a tip off from a North Korean defector. This tunnel is about 1,600 meters (5,200 ft) long and about 150 meters (490 ft) below ground. A fourth tunnel was discovered on March 3, 1990. It is almost identical in structure to the second and the third tunnels.[6]
The tunnels were dug by North Korea and are presumed for use by the military as an invasion route. Each tunnel is large enough to permit the passage of an entire division in one hour. All the tunnels run in a north-south direction and do not branch off. The planning for the tunnels got progressively more advanced (for example, the third tunnel slopes upward slightly as it progresses southward, so that water does not stagnate). The orientation of the blasting lines within each one indicates that North Korea dug the tunnels. Upon their discovery, the North claimed that they were for coal mining; however, no coal can be found in the tunnels, which are dug through granite, but some of the tunnel walls were at some point painted black to give the appearance of coal.”
