I really hope it’s not decades. Hopefully the public attention span is short.
Professor Rosa Brooks
Brooks' previous work included five years as an associate professor at the University of Virginia School of Law, and stints at the U.S. Department of State, Human Rights Watch and the Open Society Institute.
She has served as a board member of Amnesty International USA, a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a member of the Executive Council of the American Society of International Law.
She is active in political causes and served as a foreign policy advisor to the Kerry-Edwards campaign in 2004.
If term limits werent around [Reagan] would have easily won another term.
. . . even as, we must painfully admit, he was within six years of writing his November 1994, Alzheimers letter . . .It certainly would have been interesting to have had Reagan in the White House during the time of the Russian coup. Possibly his own stature would have enabled him to prevent it. But, by then his own powers obviously must have been failing.
The Democrats are going to miss him with intensity.
My sentiments exactly. I stand to “lose” upwards of $500 if Ramos and/or Compean receive so much as a commutation let alone the pardons they deserve. I’ll bet my money is safe as Bush, as he has time and time again, FAILS to do the right thing.
