Last night I was watching Dogs 101 on Animal Planet because they had an episode about Presidential dogs. Unfortunately they spent too much talking about what dog the Evil Ones should get.

They talked about the dog that brought President Bush to tears. A man that worked at the White House said the night before little Spotty was put down President Bush took her out to the South Lawn and sat down on the grass with her cradled in his arms for a long time. He choked up telling this story and I'm getting teary eyed typing this.

President Bush loves his dogs as much as he loves children and the troops.

I am doing to miss him

I thank you for posting this. I have often wondered about Spotty and the President. God bless President Bush - he is a lovely man.

Spot was a special dog one who began life at the White House and ended her life at the White House not only giving her a unique place in Bush family history but also Presidential history as well.
