"So how is this any different than current policy? " It's not. Just like Gitmo won't close; just like warrant-less wiretapping won't stop; just like the troops won't be leaving Irag or Afghanistan anytime soon. When Barry said "Just words, just speeches" - he really meant it.

Barack Obama seriously wants to eliminate interrogations for everybody but all non-leftists.

Weak old women...apologizing to the mean terrorists.
To: EagleUSA
Well they actually elected people who are more concerned about the terrorists. Brilliant.

Those who hate us will fear us less and mock us more, concluding that we're stupid, a "paper tiger." Those who esteem us will sleep less well at night.

We can hope he’ll send the terrorists to Kenya, where his friends and relatives can terrorize the terrorists to get info?

Ximinez [with a cruel leer]: Now -- you will stay in the Comfy Chair until lunch time, with only a cup of coffee at eleven. [aside, to Biggles] Is that really all it is?
Biggles: Yes, lord.
Ximinez: I see. I suppose we make it worse by shouting a lot, do we? Confess, woman. Confess! Confess! Confess! Confess!
Biggles: I confess! Ximinez: Not you!

As decreed by Clinton during his tenure, we should also go back to collecting intelligence only through reputable law abiding sources as it's not right to have our intelligence agents working with unscrupulous and nefarious individuals. /sarc

Gibbons has a great quote in Decline and Fall (paraphrasing from memory):
The actions of a weak and distracted government will take on the same appearance and character as if the ministers were agents of the foreign enemy.

I am almost bet that a front-line commander that is having his troops killed because of the lack of coerced information will look the other way and allow it to happen.

Even if we are attacked on Obama’s watch, he will not get the blame. The news reported by the overselling bunch of liberal MSM including all offices of the Government will lie, distort and will alter information so no blame goes to the “King Obama”. So don't get your hopes up, people, this Chicago style criminal with his rat pack will never be caught. The King will rule for many years.

Asking for it, while bent over grasping our ankles. If it has to happen, I only hope that some of these liberal loons also are hit hard by whatever tactic is employed.

However, Obama's changes may not be absolute. His advisers are considering adding a classified loophole to the rules that could allow the CIA to use some interrogation methods not specifically authorized by the Pentagon, the officials said.IOW it will be interrogations as usual.
O'Bama's declaration is a touchy feely piece to satisfy the masses. Merely words.

Exactly..... “America’s aggressive posture” Gotta love it, nearly 3000 American Citizens that did nothing more then go to work died on 911. Their Deaths produced by 19 men that believed in an ideology of hate so grand that they would kill themselves in order to inflict the most damage possible against their enemy. How does Obama rationalize that?
Obama says we all need to have skin in the game.. and “Do unto others...”... Obama has never once did anything that wasn’t good for Obama.... LOL... we are in for one heck of a ride.... So as Obama makes all this grand change to the “Bad” Bush policies that make us so weak in the world, what possibly can he say to the American People after the Next terror attack on our soil?
How do you appease an enemy that doesn’t want what you have, but only wants you dead?
