Well, I’m glad I’m out.
Mark my words, soon there will be homosexuals living in base housing with their “partners” based on either a civil union or marriage certificate. When that happens, expect a BIG exodus from the military. God fearing men & women make up a very larger percentage of the force and they won’t be subjected to this. They will vote with their feet.
Maybe its all part of O’s plan?
Oh, of course, can’t be judgmental. Tolerating the personally offensive is much more important than a strong military to keep our country safe.
I remember when Military Chaplains used to pray, for real. They were allowed to say:
- "In the Name of Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen"
If they were Catholic
- "We Pray in Jesus' Name"
If they were Christian Protestant
And they were allowed to say:
Barukh ata Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha‑olam...
If they were are a Military Rabbi. Have any of you ever heard a Psalm song in Hebrew? It is the most beautiful song ever given by a human voice.
Sadly, all Military Chaplains that are left are either sellout are retirees.
Those that are left have allowed "Commanders" to strip them of their Authority in God. They don't pray any more to God, but to Performance Reports.
Some one tell me I am wrong. Today?
Any military Chaplain is PREVENTED by regulation of really praying.
They give a Bull-Sheit secular prayer that no one could disagree with:
Dear Everyone,
"Let us all wish for the safe return of our soldiers, and everyone to be safe, and return to their loved ones, and for understanding with our opponents, and for Peace!"
If you think I am exaggerating, you are wrong.
Why is he doing this? I feel sorry for the men and women in uniform while he is president.
>>The startling pronouncement, which could re-open a dormant battle in the culture wars and distract from other elements of Obama’s agenda,<<
I thought the book on Clinton was that it was a huge mistake to take this issue on in the first month.
No doubt. Question is, will this change to current policy be part of Obama's affirmative action agenda? With quotas, no less?
I knew two homosexuals when I was in. The first was a lesbian who aggressively hit on other women in the dorm while in tech school; unfortunately, the other women where tolerant of her unwelcomed behavior. This became apparent to us only when she tried to commit suicide by cutting her wrists with a broken light bulb.
The second was one of six guys in the Air Force who have AIDS. For whatever reason, the identity of these six is secret, even to their supervisors (I guess so there is no stigma). We became aware of him when AFOSI (type of police) informed me (squadron commander) that they were investigating whether to charge him with knowingly infecting another man with AIDS (thats a big crime). The man who was infected was his own cousin, also in the military. When the infected man found out AFOSI could put his cousin in jail, he changed his story to say he got infected in a bar downtown. So this homosexual with a lethal disease, who has unprotected sex with other men, is still in the Air Force.
Homosexuality has an adverse impact on our military.
This nation is “hanging on a thread”, and I fear God may not allow it to go on (at least in the current form) for much longer..see ya America: You had a great 200+ year run (but you squandered your inheritance late in your life, last 50+ years).
There will Politically Correct bullying by the newly empowered gay troops over this.
Way to go, OKenyan! Impair the effectiveness of the trops in the middle of a war!
The Kenyan Sock Monkey is BRILLIANT!
