I was breaking this story on FR and was commenting as it went along. I told State Rep. Stacey Campfield this just a few minutes ago...
“Stacey, I hate to rub salt in the wound myself (and it’s a damn good thing I wasn’t in the gallery, because they would’ve carted me off as soon as I unloaded on certain individuals for their treachery), but why on Earth didn’t Leader Mumpower get some non-moonbat Democrats as a cushion for support (even if it meant giving some of them a Chairmanship or two) ? He had to have known, and I warned it myself, that Naifeh wasn’t going to just give up without pulling off a stunt like we witnessed today. Williams isn’t the real Speaker, he’s just a puppet for Naifeh (and we saw again, his support for DeBerry, proving he was completely in the pocket of Naifeh). We couldn’t rely on a one-seat cushion that one weak-willed traitor would sell out for his pieces of silver.
The Democrat party is absolutely the most immoral and corrupt political band of thugs in the U.S. Naifeh and his minions have been playing the game for decades and we play it like it’s Marquis of Queensberry while they just get out a baseball bat and hit us in the knees. They don’t play by the rules, they make up the rules as they go along. Rule #1, the Democrats are always in charge. Rule #2, if the Democrats are voted out, see rule #1.
No honor, no decency, no sense of right or wrong, just a raw grab for power to which the people of Tennessee did NOT elect them to, nor have in 16 years, for which time since ‘94 onwards the GOP has received more votes for legislative candidates than the Democrat party. This is “minority rules” by a thugocracy. It’s disgusting.”
