How does the saying go? He is not worthy to tie Abe Lincoln’s shoes.
To make it perfectly clear, I am speaking about his record and his character, not his color.
What a creep. I thought the Abe Lincoln train ride was bad enough, but this really is pathologically narcissistic.
The only thing you can say in favor of his Abe Lincoln act is that it’s a little less bizarre than his earlier Messiah act. But it comes from the same habit of totally unreal, pathological narcissism.
I agree with your post.
I have read enough about Lincoln and while I can’t profess to be an expert, I suspect that Lincoln would be less than impressed with Barack Obama holding the same office as he did.
This is creepy beyond belief. But then, everything about our first foreign president is creepy beyond belief.
He was taken off the train about 20 miles outside of DC and finished up the trip hiding in an unmarked closed cab carriage.
In those days Pinkerton provided the security for the President, they were afraid he would be killed before he could take office so they sneaked him into town. The folks that went to meet the train were very disappointed when he didn't get off of it.
With the absence of classical studies... how did he go from Greek to Lincoln?
Man, I have to find that State of the Black Union clip from Cornell the Red.

Oh, he endorsed him at the Apollo right after.
This is the money clip re: Lincoln (some here will appreciate it, he goes even further than the war)
