Lincoln also said that even though he freed the slaves, the negroes should never be considered equal with whites(don't have the exact quote, but that was close).

As opposed to those well known supporters of equal rights for all and advocates of racial tolerance Jeff Davis, Bob Lee, and Thomas Jackson?

Do you mean he is going to free us whites from the oppression of the blacks?

"Barack Obama's campaign hired genealogists to research the family's roots at the onset of his presidential bid, but aides have largely kept the findings secret. Genealogists at Lowcountry Africana, a research center at the University of South Florida in Tampa, scoured documents to put together a 120-page report, according to project director Toni Carrier. She said the center signed a confidentiality agreement and is not allowed to disclose the findings publicly."

You can find a lot about Obama's American Ancestry online .

George Washington Overall and Mary Duvall were slaveowners.

Christopher Columbus Clark fought in a union unit, but Jefferson Davis was a relative.

Harbin Wilburn McCurry was also in a union militia. His family was said to have been attacked by Quantrill's raiders. More here.

If Lincoln had been like Obama, Lincoln would have said to the South,
"We don't want to go to War."

"Keep Fort Sumter"

"BTW, you can secede if you want to."

He's going to emancipate all of money from the bondage of our wallets into the freedom of the government's treasury.

Terri Schiavo’s Brother Responds after Obama Appoints Lawyer Who Helped Kill Terri to High Position

By Kathleen Gilbert

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 7, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In an interview with LifeSiteNews.com today, Bobby Schindler, the brother of Terri Shiavo, expressed his disappointment that Barack Obama had appointed the same lawyer who spearheaded the effort to have Terri killed via dehydration to a top position in his administration.

“Sadly, the appointment of Attorney Thomas Perrelli as an associate attorney general is what many of us have feared in regards to a Barack Obama presidency,” said Schindler. “Not only does it appear that Pres-elect Obama has no regard for the value and dignity of human life, but it also appears the same holds true for those he is appointing to be part of his administration.”

The appointment of Perrelli to the Department of Justice comes as little surprise to those familiar with his advisory position on Obama’s transition team, as well as his fundraising efforts. Perrelli helped raise half a million dollars to aid Obama’s presidential campaign last year.

But Perrelli, the managing partner of Washington's Jenner & Block law firm, is most well-known for his leading role in the Terri Schiavo case, in which he represented Michael Schiavo as Schiavo fought to remove the feeding tube of his disabled wife against the wishes of her family. Perrelli worked closely with attorney George Felos, an infamous supporter of legalized euthanasia.

Perrelli was instrumental in helping Schiavo overcome the bill Congress had passed to allow Terri’s case to reach federal courts. The bill was one that Obama had supported, but, since then, the President-elect has insisted several times that he was mistaken to support the Congressional effort to grant Terri's family another chance to save her life.

“It wasn't something I was comfortable with, but it was not something that I stood on the floor and stopped,” said Obama during a debate last year. “And I think that was a mistake, and I think the American people understood that that was a mistake. And as a constitutional law professor, I knew better.”

That is weird. Everytime I think of this guy I think of the same movie.

Sure would hate to shoot my own brother though.

Thank you. Somehow I'd missed this.

Looks like the cartographers of the roadmap for euthenasia in mandatory "healthcare" have been located.

Why are descendants of slaves in the US so happy with his election??

They are speaking up today over the southern ladies antebellum costumes that will be worn and they're not happy

Comparisons to Lincoln may be apropos, after all Lincoln didn’t have much use for the constitution either. Let’s hope we don’t have a repeat of what followed the election of Lincoln.

One thing he won’t do to emulate Lincoln is split rails! O’bummer would probably cut his own foot off if he tried. If he did survive he would find out what a real fitness workout feels like.

It’s gotten so bad that the “real news” can’t be discerned from The Onion.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Please allow me to assist you with your difficulty. If it seems within the realm of possibility but on the edge of absurdity it is The Onion, if it is so absurd that you think it must be satire it is the “real news”. Truth really is stranger than fiction.

Thanks.

One day, out of curiosity over why the Southern states weren’t allowed to secede, I googled, “Abraham Lincoln” and “Civil War.”

Some of the results included a book by Thomas J. DiLorenzo entitled, “The Real Lincoln.” So, I googled, “The Real Lincoln” and found that there seemed to be a hit squad mentality at the ready to assinate anyone who dare challenge the institutional idolatry of Lincoln. Their tactics don’t differ too much from those on the short side of the facts in the realm of political discussion. For those clinging to their romantic version of history, truth is a non-sequitur.

The problems started when a pro-slavery political class with no civic morals nor civic maturity lied, cheated and rabble roused a region into rebellion. It was left to Lincoln to clean up the mess, liberate the South from the secessionist establishment and free the continent from endless conflict between the champions of liberty and the champions of slavery. As a southerner, I'm extremely grateful that Lincoln freed me and my ancestors from the despotism of the plantation class. This great man deserves a place of honor with Washington and it's a shame that Obama is trying to steal our great Republican hero.

Why does Obama constantly want to compare himself to Lincoln. Obama doesn’t have an honest bone in his body. Abe was a humble man with a humble wife that lived a humble life. Obama has no identity of his own, that’s why he’s so creepy about Lincoln.

Is this ‘Lincoln Inaugural’ going to conclude in a theater?
