Syrian Paper: Turkish PM Calls For Sanctions Against Israel
In a speech at the convention of Turkey’s Justice and Development Party (AKP), Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on the U.N. to impose sanctions on Israel because it was not honoring U.N. Security Council Resolution 1860 calling for a halt of the aggression against the Gaza Strip.
He said that the U.N. must force Israel to implement the resolution.
