Those harpies were incapable of understanding Ann’s message on Singlemotherhood. She wasn’t attacking the single mothers. She was attacking media like the View for glamorizing it.

Barbara was trying to make the point that some single women want a child. She didn't actually finish and Ann had no chance to respond.
But my first thought was, how selfish, I want, I want.
What about the child?? What's best for the child??

If my kids had had a better father in the home, despite my shortcomings, and I was an effective parent in many other ways, I am almost 100% positive that many of the problems we had could have been avoided. Any kid will make a mistake or two, but after all these years, each in their own way are still suffering from the effects, my son is very successful, but all have low self-esteem (overhyped sometimes, I know) and the girls still are just barely holding on. Won't go on about that, just that they could have had much nicer lives.
Even though I was divorced, I talked to different people, advised a friend in an unhappy marriage not to get out for the sake of the kids plus she would not be able to support herself, they were affluent, and may had to give custody over to the dad. He was abusive. I don't know in that case if I gave her good advice or not, just didn't want her to go through some of what I was going through. I think she overdosed when the last of their five children was in college, but some of her problems were genetic and bound to happen no matter what; she was usually nice, cultured, well-educated.
I also remember talking to a young female lawyer at work, her bio clock was ticking, and maybe some other single women who wanted babies but no husband in sight. I said those exact same words and still say them to anybody who deliberately gets pregnant as a single woman. It is selfish. I told the lawyer I would pray for her that she would find a suitable mate. She did find one shortly after, don't know how it worked out, but they got married.
I'm not saying that all single moms are bad moms and not doing the best with what they have; some have done stellar jobs. So many are so irresponsible, immoral, it's tragic. Just look at the stats. They bear it out what Ann (and I) believe.

Ever notice how a liberal reacts when presented with facts and data that contradict their position? They immediately fall back to how they “feel” about the issue, or, make some statement like “that data has been disproven many times over”.

I’ve seen 3 interviews so far, and they are all the same. Matt Lauer, Harry Smith, and the View. Its the same liberal questions. No one has refuted a damn thing yet.

Every time she gets a chance to go one on one with these people she eats their lunch. What is amazing is that the lib allowed her on the show. Those on the left who have a brain left (teehee) try to avoid her at all costs.
