A STEEP temperature drop, a blizzard and a downpour could assail the millions expected to attend Barack Obama's presidential inauguration on January 20, officials said.
"Just given a sunny pleasant 50-degree day, just having that many people around town will be a problem, so any sort of weather issue on top of that is only going to exacerbate that,'' warned Christopher Strong, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

I think it's actually coming out of Alaska, where it was -67 actual temp this morning.

Oh good, the Global Warming crowd is going to get to see their theory first hand.
I wish an extremely cold day, high winds, blizzard conditions and raging diarrhea on all of the democrat attendees.
What ever happened to the "Siberian Express"?

Lord, let your displeasure be on full display at the inauguration of Obama on January 20th; Send cold, snow, rain and ice. My money’s on multiple ‘inauguration events’ for several months-—like Michael Jordan’s fairwell tour.. or Magic Johnson’s retiremnt.
The blight is that Obama will be attending.
Forget bad weather. I was hoping for something more along the lines of a certain couple scenes from “Independence Day” any time after 1/20/09.
The best of all was Kofi Annan's farewell tour to the United States. It lasted several months before his visa expired. He might still be here?
DC residents are much more likely to succumb to gunshot wounds than to hypothermia. The Metro system provides warm shelter to many of DC’s chronically homeless.
If it works for them...
The Obamedia are calling it Inauguration Week, not Inauguration Day.
Obama has plans to start in Philadelphia with an event, move on to Baltimore (where a Grand Jury has just indicted our mayor) for another public appearance, and then to DC - Lincoln Memorial etc.
The man is an egomaniac.
Perhaps the Secret Service can talk some sense of proportion into him.
Yes, a frightful blizzard would be nice.
