Despite being pressured by traditional family advocates to stop, Campbell's Soup Company, maker of Swanson's brand broth, has vowed to continue spending its advertising dollars in pro-homosexual publications.
As WND reported earlier, the American Family Association objected to a Swanson's broth magazine ad that depicts a lesbian couple and their son. The ad was placed in the December 2008 and January 2009 issues of The Advocate, a magazine that touts itself with the line, "For 40 years, setting the standard in LGBT journalism."
Campbell's Soup, however, has brushed off the AFA's complaint.
MediaDailyNews quoted a company spokesperson explaining, "Inclusion and diversity play an important role in our business, and that fact is reflected in our marketing plan."
According to a Campbell's representative, "Our plans for the Swanson brand include additional placements in The Advocate."

To be perfectly honest, I can’t keep the different fragmented functions straight. Experiential Marketing, Viral Marketing, public relations, Promotions, Product Placement, etc. etc. etc.
Public Relations used to be press releases and a few special events and some flattering press coverage. Now the special events are called Experiential Marketing.
Promotions used to be gimme hats and contests, now they extend to product placement in movies and TV shows.
Viral Marketing is whoknowswhat in the basement.
“best move in response? if families do not want to see this continue (do you remember the 90s?), then stop buying campbells products... AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO DO THE SAME.”
...and let the Campbells’ execs know what you are doing. I know from past experiences that his is very effective. You are correct.
;-)
That it’s effective? Oh, that’s simple — the Blair Witch Project, which is now studied in business schools. They had kids go on teen chat rooms spreading rumors the movie was “real.”
I believe the sales technique has to match the product.
There’s no need to go into long explanations. Just say you have issues with closet space. ;^)
One of my kids lived in China some years back and I got to hear a full share of funny food stories. I’m sure Chinese kids living here go back with the same kinds of stories...
Exactly....and it depends on the individual entity how the PR functionaries integrate with advertising decisions. There are, however, connections in the flow of decision making.

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
lmao! I wish they would get back into their closets. I liked gays better when they were in the closet or at least not so open about it.....
Are they advertising Prego in lesbian publications? “Prego! What you will never, ever be without some input from a man!”
Far too complicated for this old dog. all the lines have been blurred.

You seem to get it pandora, durasell does not. DUrasell seems to have an agenda of their own.
The only issues I have with homosexuals is their phony political agenda and their neurotic need to shock the public.
“That its effective?...”
I wasn’t referring to teens in chat rooms aimed at narrow demographics per se... but rather that such tactics improved sales. Where is your substantiation for that?
Thanks a bunch...
I make our soups - healthier and you know what’s in them.

Yeah, I saw it. Disgusting.
No Campbells products in my house. Absolutely none.
Dang! It's the unholy trifecta: "Corporate-sponsored gay-soup-eating illegals!"
MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE! MAKE IT STOP!
Note: The shoutingandpointings have been officially and proudly boycotting all Campbell's gay soup and related products since 2:05:39 PM EST, January 10, 2009.
