The latest chapter in the conflict between the governments of Israel and Palestine is generating loads of media ink and huge, whopping lies. Heres a roundup of the top myths related to this war:
1) Israel launched a preemptive war.
Congressman and former GOP Presidential candidate, Ron Paul, suggested to Press TV the official propaganda arm of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that Israels actions were preemptive. His logic: Israel has nukes and Hamas doesnt, so its unfair. Look, a war isnt automatically preemptive just because one party was dumb enough to pick a fight it cant win. I mean, do you want your jihad, or dont you? This is getting confusing. It also isnt the first time Rep. Paul has lamented the lack of nuclear power in other Middle Eastern countries. In early 2007, on Fox News, Rep. Paul told me that he didnt have a problem with Iran possessing nukes. The whole idea of Israels nuclear advantage is moot, until Israel nukes Gaza and they havent. If you ask me, the Zionists are showing unbelievable restraint.

Ron Paul....again. I just posted a couple of comments on that idiot on another thread. What kind of crackpot supported that guy for president anyhow? His kind of ignorance is downright dangerous.
Yep, he’s right on small government, wrong on everything else, especially defense.
Obama is Jammah Cahtah Lite, light in intellect and probably light in the loafers.
If having rockets lobbed into your country or terrorists fly planes into your skyscrapers aren’t good enough reasons to go to war, then just what is in this man’s opinion? Do Israel and the U.S. have to wait until a nuke goes off in one or more of our largest cities before aPauling will do anything?
The Iranian-Syrian-Hamas-Hezballah cabal should make Ron Paul their leading paid spokesman.
