Thanks for the dose. I am feeling a bit better but dad seems to have a sore throat and I am a little worried that he may have the cold though he has complained about this throat for a couple of weeks, so it may not be connected to my cold.
Have signed the paperwork for the equipment to be delivered and am meeting with the care manager on Monday regarding the level of care and arrangements for it. After this is sorted then dad will be allowed home.
Thank you all for your support and prayers.

Thanks for keeping us updated, snugs. Hopefully the sore throat is just from the dry air in the hospital. Still praying for him!

Weekend Edition Sunday, January 9, 2009 · President Bush’s poll ratings were among the highest and lowest that modern presidents have ever received but feelings about George W. Bush the person never fell as far as his job approval numbers.
Ask his staff or his friends to describe the president, and they’ll say “Normal, regular if he moved in next door, you’d be friends.”

Well, we’ll be sorta next door neighbors. Dallas is MUCH closer
than DC...and I would definitely be proud to call the Bushes friends!

What a memorable day for the Bush family. They have had so many honors and achievements in their lifetime.
Question: Once a ship is named is that name ever changed?

Hi, Snugs
I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope your dad doesn't have a sore throat or a cold. Prayers for both of you and I hope his move back home is a smooth and stress-free as possible.

These “A Day in the Life” threads don’t ALWAYS deal with a quote from President Bush, or photos of the president, etc. (Is that what is the question?) Anyway - definitly not the type of quote we will see from ANYONE in the Executive branch after Jan. 20th. :(
