Time's Mark Halperin said the "extreme pro-Obama coverage" represented a "disgusting failure of people in our business."

I didn't catch this. I have wondered for months if there isn't some guy out there who at least once saw Dateline USA who was the least bit embarrassed by all the sissified newsies extant.

Talk about a monday morning quarterback statement by Halperin. Only now that Obama was annointed the presidency by the MSM, a few try to tone it down a bit and act like they can be unbiased. 4 years from now, no matter how much of an embarrassing disaster Obama has been, the media will all be there again fawning over him because he’s a liberal democrat, including Halperin.

Mark Halperin made that observation several times during the campaign, so he was a consistent critic of the rest of the press. I think the first time I heard him level that charge was before the first caucus, when the Dems were debating among themselves and Hillary was still the presumptive front-runner.

The Chris Matthews episode is iconic for the whole campaign. He'll pay for that for the rest of his life, and fairly so.

For the first time in my life, I think the Clintons had a legitimate beef. Considering that they are both unindicted felons who unjustly glory in every minute they're allowed to walk around free without repaying their debt to society, however, they'll get no sympathy from me. No sniffles for poor widdle Hee-a-Ree.
