Well, then White made the decision to sign after Durbin’s presser. It seems more and more we’re having a cat fight between Illinois and Washington Democrats.
Like you, I can’t understand what the hold up was. Burris fulfilled both obligations to Reid/Durbin. He passed the Illinois House questioning, and the court ruled White’s signature was irrelevant. After that I believed White would only sign if pressed. That’s apparently happened.
