Not only that, but all these FReepers wondering why Blago is rambling on, calling him a goofball, etc. need to know one thing; it's all about the jury pool. All it takes is one Chicagoan to think he's a great guy and it's all over. Even should the trial occur after a Senate conviction, if he can't be convicted in a court, then he may have grounds to overturn a Senate conviction.
If this guy's a goofball, or delusional, or whatever one wants to think, he's a smart goofball. Very smart. This wasn't a presser; it was theater.
I think if the IL Senate votes him to the street he will start singing .......he tossed out Rahm E’s name in that presstitute stage show.

Even before the indictment no one was admitting that they voted for the guy...which of course, may be true, in the true Chicago Way of elections.
It is in regards to him fighting against a program or something .Hopefully there will be many many more details .

I don’t know why the dems are being so aggressive about his impeachment. They throw him out, he’s really going to start talking. I bet he already has actually with his lawyer. The dems are digging themselves a huge hole with the way they have dealt with the Blago and Burris fiasco. I pray that there are connections back to Obama and the transition team. Then, let the real impeachment hearings start.

That’s their game. Many times, they DO do a lot for the poor. It’s just that they do a lot for themselves too and skim off the top. Too many times, those who feel disenfranchised and not a part of the productive society don’t care what else these people do as they as they give them (the poor) something. People like Blago and Fumo here in Philadelphia know it. It’s a rather complex relationship and the dems exploit it.
