Relief Agencies Fear More Are Trapped, Days After Neighborhood Was Shelled
Emergency workers said they rescued 100 more trapped survivors Thursday and found between 40 and 50 corpses in a devastated residential block south of Gaza City that the Israeli military had kept off-limits to the International Committee of the Red Cross for four days...
...Four children, weak but alive, were found lying under blankets, nestled next to their dead mothers, Abuzaid said.
...The Red Cross has accused the Israeli military of repeatedly refusing to grant permission for ambulances to go to Zaytoun, even though soldiers were stationed outside the damaged houses and were aware people were wounded inside...

I told her I don't know how true it is, but she insisted that since it was printed in the Washington Post, it must be true.
Wow. There’s no media bias in THAT headline at ALL!
No offense, but is your mother suffering from senile dementia?
The WaPo is one of the “top” five lib-tard rags in the country.
Given Islamist history, they should only be allowed to use pickups and flat bed medium trucks as ambulances. Those vehicles are more easily searched for both "brave" jihadists and jihadist armament.
You should have responded that the Washington Post has become the propaganda arm for anti-semitism in America so anything written about Jews or Israelis must be considered false until demonstrated elsewhere to be true.
Hamas uses ambulances and UN vehicles to move their weapons, men and ammmo.
course the left and ,muslims are just too dumb to realise the truth
Reyham Abdel Kareem sounds like an unbiased journalist.
SO 100 Hamas terrorists were rescued. Oh, wait, 96 plus their 4 child hostages.
Call and read this to your Mom, please
It explains the IDF reason for refusing Red Cross workers entrance to neighorhoods
It explains why some homes, even containing live victims, are under guard and cannot be safely entered- because those kids are boooby trapped bomb bait and quite probably, EOD (explosive experts) are way overtasked to try and defuse them
This line has "orchestrated Hamas PR stunt" written all over it.
See captured map.
No stunt.
Entire neighborhhods are rigged with HAMAS explosives and have HAMAS snipers and IED’s positioned to attack rescue workers.
“This situation will not improve until Hamas stops lobbing rockets into Israel,” White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said.”

What is it about stop lobbing that they don’t understand?
Duh.
You mean their 4 child human shields along with their mothers, right?

awww be nice to my mom.
She’s subscribed to the Washington Post for more than 50 years. She won’t read the Washington Times because it’s owned by the Moonies. But, at least I got her to watch Foxnews :)
Thank you for the info. I knew there had to be more to the story than what the Post was reporting.

If the homes are booby-trapped... shouldn’t the IDF the allow the Red Cross access (with television crews filming)?
That way, when the rubble goes *BOOM!* and the Red Cross personnel die, the world has live coverage as to why.
