WASHINGTON - Sarah Palin, still smarting over coverage of her vice presidential run, calls the media's reporting on her family "very scary" and says there may be "a class issue" that explains the more sympathetic treatment of Caroline Kennedy.
The Alaska governor also took a swipe at Katie Couric over the CBS interview in which Palin stumbled badly, saying: "Katie, you're not the center of everyone's universe."

And that's where my problem lies. If it was the source that lied/twisted it, Cameron has to disclose it. If Cameron was the one twisting it, he is the culprit and a weasel for not admitting it.
but thats not the same as denying anything happened.
What didn't happen is that "Palin doesn't know that Africa is a continent". This is what Cameron said and this is what is false. Whether she made a minor verbal glitch during a conversation is not an issue here. By no stretch would it justify the claim.
Im sure they (staff) all played hard, left what they had on the field and were emotional and drained afterwards - in the midst of being consumed with woulda, coulda, shoulda, someone was ticked about the SP choice and held her responsible. It was McCains show and those who loved McCain may not have loved SP. Had they won, they would have been all celebration and no regrets/backstabbing.
