Author and columnist Ann Coulter doesn’t disappoint in her latest book, Guilty: Liberal “Victims” and Their Assault on America. It is Coulter’s seventh book, effectively making her the Rush Limbaugh of conservative authors. With more than 3 million books sold, Coulter is the 21st century’s most successful conservative writer, male or female.
Guilty picks up on the theme of liberals using victims as shields from criticism first outlined in Coulter’s Godless. In her new book, she puts together a solid, substantial case against the phony victims created from liberal fantasies.
Coulter writes, “Liberals are the masters of finger-wagging indignation. They will wail about some perceived slight to a sacred feeling of theirs, frightening people who have never before witnessed the liberals’ capacity to invoke synthetic outrage. Distracted by the crocodile tears of the liberal, Americans don’t notice that these fake victims are attacking, advancing, and creating genuine victims.”
In recent interviews on CBS and NBC, morning show anchors Harry Smith and Matt Lauer were outraged at Coulter’s audacity to detail the Left’s effort to promote single motherhood via out-of-wedlock births and its well-established effects on children. The morning show hosts’ moral outrage is usually reserved for important issues affecting Americans like bears and Scientology funerals. On January 7, the NBC’s "Today Show" reported, “Discovery’s ‘Bear Feeding Frenzy’ accused of fostering negative stereotypes.” On January 6, CBS’s "Early Show" was morbidly obsessed with the details of Scientology and the funeral for John Travolta’s son.

Her part about the trooper that tazered Palins 11 year old nephew and threatened to kill her father was hilarious. She said its one of the rare times liberals supported a cop using force.

True. Being a girl and all, Ann doesn’t float my boat in that way, but seeing a post about her last week go 30+ posts without a pic was just creepy. Kind of like being in your parent’s house when they’re not there.

Bill O’Reilly claims he has sold more books than Coulter and therefore is the leader of conservatives.

I hope its ‘original’ this time. Last time I laid money down for a Coulter book, I got reprints of her columns with some added commentary.
She hasn’t put out a ‘good book’ since Treason in my opinion.
I did forget ‘Godless’...and yep, like you I didn’t know I was going to get a rehash of favorite columns.
I believe the headline is saying that she’s #1 in conservative book sales as Rush is #1 in talk radio.
Bill O'Reilly is not a conservative--he's a populist. I have no idea if he's sold 3 million or more copies of his books or not, but I saw that little snippy remark during his program!
Hey, Badeye. I hear ya! Coulter is hilarious and I love all of her work. Perhaps a trip to the bookstore to look over books before purchasing. ;-)
Thats my plan, go to the bookstore and review it for myself before spending the money.
