2 years is an eternity in politics. I never would have thought the Dems would have a victory as big as they did in 2006 after 2004.

I think Reid is vulnerable so long as we get a good challenger. Blanche Lincoln could also be vulnerable if we have a good candidate. If Hoeven runs in North Dakota against Dorgan, we could have an upset there as well.

Bottom line, way too early to tell.

I can’t imagine Blunt winning the primary, and if he does, he’d get wiped out in the general. He has virtually zero grassroots support. Missouri has “Blunt fatigue” at this point as it is. Steelman or Kinder. Nobody who has been in Washington for the past 10 years.

There are so many “RINO” Republicans running for re-election to the Senate in ‘10 that it really makes the chances for serious conservative gains even more difficult! This list is really so depressing, IMHO! I’m keeping my reluctant prediction that “U.S. conservatism” remains a political minority for, at least, sixty years, if not even longer. There really will be too many U.S. voters who will have “drank the pro-leftist, socialism kool-aid” by ‘10 and beyond, and this doesn’t even include all of the other added leftist votes, during all future U.S. elections, from additional criminals, from more of the dead, from other illegal votes that are also counted, and from additional votes made throughout the U.S. by illegal immigrants, who both leftists and “elitist” Republicans will also create with legal legislation, so illegal immigrants can vote in all future U.S. elections. How can “U.S. conservatism” quickly, seriously, and successfully rebound from all of these leftist political maneuvers, which suppress all of conservatism even further and longer? Depressing!

The Illinois Seat will be a regular election. Obama was up in 2010.

I’m a little surprised. I thought Bond would go again. Of course it’s not a certain loss, that’s silly.

Blunt is running? Roy? He needs to be out as whip, this is one way to lose him.

Steelman please beat him. I hate to see the Rat governor appoint a Kinder replacement if he runs.

Emerson married a rat? Tsk tsk.

here is the bright side......barry soetoro won with over 1/2 billion of money from who knows where...he had the entire media with him.....almost all of Howood.....all the unions.....even foreign countries.....

and yet, he won a little better popular vote wise than Bushie did....

he won against an old, tired-out passion-less, and charisma lacking has been, with a tired message who did little to energize his campaign except the "one" thing he did right....but even with Sarah, he nearly sabotaged her.

we must remember how McCain lectured us about barry soetoro being a "decent" man...

but despite McCain, barry had to hold on to win....with all his advantage...

I take that to mean we do have a large number of people on our side and against his side..

can we start claiming that we are patriots instead of just "conservatives"....

conservatism is a rightful way of thinking except its MOST important to get patriots elected.....and if that means we have "rinos" then so be it..."rinos" are a zillion times better than leftist rats...

it is what it is....

if we start chopping the legs out of all our Pubs NOW we don't have a chance to bring back patriotism to the White House nor Senate nor House.....

hang together people or hang separately....

There’s no Republican farm team in AR. Unless Boozman runs against Blanche Lincoln (and I don’t see him as terribly formidable), there’s no other first tier challenger. We can thank Huckster for making that the reality. The Southern Slick Willard party-killer.
