I really don't see the big problem here. To the victor go the spoils. Perhaps the GOP will need to move to win back a majority in 2010. Of course, if it does manage to do that, it will probably reinstate all of these rules "out of fairness."

Bring back Newt. He won't make any more mistakes in dealing with those people. Just don't make him Speaker -- he was wasted as Speaker of the House.

Newt needs to have some other sort of factional pulpit, like maybe RNCC. Giving everyone a fair show and keeping the House moving, as Speaker, and prosecuting the platform of the GOP are two often non-overlapping suites of responsibility.

EXACTLY. "Reaching across the aisles" only applies when the Democrats are out of power. I am so sick of these damned wussy Republicans - we have no one left to speak for Middle America.
