"[Killefer] The longtime senior partner at the giant global consulting firm McKinsey & Co. has previously worked at the Treasury to modernize the IRS and on a public-private oversight board to push the tax agency to more aggressively pursue corporate and high-income tax cheats.

Killefer returns to government to take a new White House job Obama created — chief performance officer — to make federal programs more efficient and more responsive to those they serve and to help eliminate those that don't work."

Sounds more like political commissar than performance czar. Our country is looking more an more like the former Soviet Union.

Chief Performance Officer.

Sound like something you would get once the sex industry is nationalized.

Our company used McKensey and probably still does. My impression of them is, “you tell them what you want and they tell you what you told them you want”. But during this drawn out process they charge you enormous sums of money.

Given that this individual has been working with the IRS for a number of years during the Clinton Administration I think we can surmise what kind of change we're in for.

Hmmmmm . . . . . . that could mean that Obama may be planning to scrap EVERY liberal, socialist program in existence because NONE of them work!!

This ol'gal apparantly tried to make IRS more efficient by not paying her own taxes. That way we might presume they wouldn't be bothered with all her paperwork.

(Just an emergency update on this thread in case someone missed today's event).
