cannot compare those jobs. police officers jobs are dangerous, but in a somewhat different way. police officers are the only people regularly killed by gunfire, during peacetime, on a regular basis as part of their duties.
all other job related deaths, such as with fishermen or timber cutters, are accidental in nature.

Some people just want to be special. Maybe you can’t ( won’t) compare the jobs. I can and do. A policeman is a man just as I am. Dead is dead.
