Breaking Now...Reporter outside Harry Reids office reports a meeting is underway...to seat Burris.
Probably...
But he’ll run anyway.

Commentary: Deal with it; Burris is a senator
Not surprising at all. The appointment was legal and the Dem’s found themselves with a race card stuck to their collective faces.
I thought Burris said that from the beginning. He said he was taking a pay cut by being a Senator for two years.
Wonder what Reid has gotten for “his reconsideration” of the issue.
The simple fact is that the Senate does NOT have constitutional authority to reject someone duly appointed by a governor of a state. I’m not sure what in the hell are they all trying to do but it’s fun as heck to watch.
Makes Reid look like what he is, an ass wipe fool.
This will work out as Burris will be fairly easy for a Republican to beat in the next election.
Harry The Body Odor Reid will make a deal that Burris will not run in 2010.
Good morning Senator Burris....
Blago wins!
Reid to hold a presser with Burris ....here it comes.
This is so great. I love to see the Dims have their own tricks used against them.
Blago gets copies of some of the tapes today.
I need more popcorn.
Jesse White is a Chicago politician simply following orders. He knows nothing about the law, but does what he is told.
That vacant space between Reid’s ears is filled with his belief that he is a legend with the powers of a potentate. While the powers inherent to the leader of the senate seem to escape him as they deal with a constitutional government.
What a sad, bitter, little man to represent what once was a strong legislative body.
Quinn better hope Burris is cleaner than Caesar’s wife if Quinn’s providing cover for Reid.
Taint lookin’ good.
;oD
Obama on now...he didn’t get the memo.
This is another nail in Sen Reid’s career.
It should make him easier to beat in the upcoming election.
