Breaking Now...Reporter outside Harry Reids office reports a meeting is underway...to seat Burris.
They didn’t fold because they knew the first bailout was doomed. They lost that vote.

Blago is the only party being prosescuted. Therefore he’s the only party entitled to the prosecution’s evidence.

The Rats caved on the Burris nomination because Blago was going to take down a lot of people with him, if they kept pushing. The feds have Emanuel on tape, telling Blago to go with the SEIU deal because that would have the fewest Obama fingerprints on it. The SEIU is going to be the basis for a lot of Obama legislation and bail-out money.
Fitzpatrick already agreed to push back the hearings until April to give this time to die down. Then Reid opened it all up again. Stupid is as stupid does.
I know what you mean. Since Christmas I have been doing much the same thing with my artsy stuff. It’s been nice, but I missed freeping like a junky...lol

Don’t matter, he’s trying to save face, after all, Feinstein got a hair across her butt and came out for seating Burris after being dissed by Obie on Panetta.

Look how he’s folded so quick on everything, jettisoning anyone and anybody under the bus. Blago, his own seat, resigning before the end of the session, unlike Clinton or Biden.
Blago got tossed on a dubious indictment (Fitzie now wants 3 more months, why bust Blago with handcuffs at home at 6 AM then), Obama didn’t want Burris in the seat or didn’t come out strongly for him, vacillating and crawdaddying again IMO, despite the much vaunted skilful, savvy pragmatism touted by his touts.
Richardson got tossed without as much of a nice knowingya. Ya think the Clintons got their revenge on him after Bill Clinton kissed his arse publicly on TV seeking his endorsement?
Obie’s gonna fold on Burris, the spectacle of a black man denied his rightful Senate seat doesn’t reflect well on the new postracial ObamaTime.
Man, this is far more entertaining that I envisioned.
And we got two more weeks til the swearing in.
Whichever one they said yes to, when the constituency was screaming no. I’ve lost count.

Perhaps, but the Dems in the Senate swore up and down that they wouldn’t accept a Blago pick. The Dems in Illinois were trying to prevent a Blago pick. So now they accept the Blago pick, because Burris is black and a nice guy.

That our country has elected Obama as our president is still a shock to my system- my brain keeps striving to have it become a logical fact- fails miserably!

same here, Christmas and the new year was really busy, haven’;t watched much news because I do not want to hear the media sucking up to their messiah obama either.
I think Reid got a call from Obama... ring-a-ling ding-ding: “Hey Dingy.. you’ll hear from me after Jan. 20th.”
Dittos on the news stuff. I can’t stand to watch them anymore. They are nothing more than court jesters for Obama.
