Is it me, or is that a sort of 'Jesus picture.' The man seems to be floating, he has an ethereal quality to him, his eyes have a far-off look, and the way the hand is raised. The masses have surrounded him, looking at him in marvel and awe (yet he doesn't look at them). It may have been coincidential, but the picture looks 'interesting.'
