Sorry, I do believe that many of us who have children in public school are quite justified in getting into a tiff about the way we are treated on FR by many of the home school proponents.
I’m sick and damned tired of being called all kinds of nasty names including being called a child abuser and a liberal.
The vast majority of conservatives on FR who do have our children in public schools are fully supportive of home schooling and home schoolers, the opposite is not true.
Just as home schoolers are justified in being upset about the disparagement they receive in general, we are just as justified in the way we are treated here on FR. I will not disparage homeschoolers for their homeschooling, but I will no longer be quiet when those same people disparage those of us who have made a different decision.
