Despite the IDF clarification, foreign media played down the Hamas' use of the school and emphasized the IDF shelling. THE SURPRISE OF THE YEAR! /s

I think the U.N. should put some Blue Helmets in their schools to keep Hamas out.

Good point:
"CNN quoted UNRWA director John Ging, as saying that "everybody here is terrorized by the situation [and] "there is no place that you can be safe if you're a civilian here." " Everybody in Gaza is terrorized by Hamas, and there is no place that you can be safe if you're a civilian in Gaza because Hamas will follow the civilians and shoot from behind women, children, or the UN. My question would be why the UN doesn't object to being used as a shield for Hamas mortar attacks, but we all know the answer to that question.

Everybody in Gaza is terrorized by Hamas, and there is no place that you can be safe if you're a civilian in Gaza That's what you get when you elect a terrorist organization to run your country.

That's what you get when you elect a terrorist organization to run your country. But, democracy is supposed to be consequence-free. At least we in the United States are getting away with electing an unqualified (both in the sense of constitutional prerequisites and in the sense of experience) socialist to make ourselves feel good, and so far we haven't had any consequences other than a partial collapse of the economy as those with sense hunker down for a rough four years. It's so unfair when stupid voting decisions have consequences for the voters who made those decisions.

The UN school teachers gave Hamas a hall pass so it’s OK.
.
Using schools to launch attacks against those you don't like.
Imagine if that happened in America!

Note that it was counter battery mortar fire beyond visual range. This was an immediate response since Hamas mortar teams fire and then move. There is no time to try for positive ID and in any case, the mortar fire MUST be suppressed to save Israeli lives!

Imagine if that happened in America! That's where they learned it from, as foreign exchange students. They've just taken it a step further from 'political attacks' and escalated it to terrorist rocket attacks.
