“my credentials are not in order and will not be accepted.”
Burris... What Burris really meant. “ I knew that my credentials were not in order , but I thought I would just push my way in anyway, even though it is illegal, and I am an Attorney General who is suppose to uphold the law, I feel I am above the law, and I will laugh in the face of justice, and the rules.”

This treatment of Burris is beyond the back of the bus.
This is an urgent SOS from the white racist Harry Reid: Paging all white rat racists dead or alive to repel Burris from the $inate Chambers!
Reid, aka, Governor Wallace, to Bull Connor: Bull, please bring your fire hoses and attack dogs to repel Burris from the $inate Chambers!
No $inate $eat for you, Burris!
GO HOME BURRIS. YOU ARE TRE$PA$$ING! GET OUT OF MY LILLY WHITE $INATE!

Ku Klux Harry Reid said that they, the Senate majority, chooses who gets in. So he just disenfranchised every state in the union.

Yeah, why don’t they auction off all their seats on ebay. At basement bargain prices.

I cannot imagine the uproar if a white Republican had denied a Senate seat to a Black Democrat...but I am sure the alphabet media will cover this closely tonight...

Burris absolutely should be seated. There is no constitutional reason to refuse to seat him. The Constitution does say the Senate is the judge of the elections. By reasonable extention that would include appointments, as both are the methods by which one becomes a senator. I think they can judge the appointment to be corrupt and void it.
To: AmericanMade1776
Who do harry & company want?
Burris isn't their pick?
To: antiRepublicrat
But why should they void this appointment. The person in question is well qualified to sit in the seat and the appointing Gov. has not been indicted of any crime.

Unfortunately for the old-guard Black “Leaders” they can no longer tell “their people” how to think. They’re sitting this one out, their dem massas own them, after all.
The Black public however, can make up their own minds.

The appointment isn't corrupt simply because the one doing the appointing might be corrupt. That is absurd. No one has been found guilty of anything. As sitting governor of IL , Blago can legally appoint anyone he chooses.

"Oh, we're sorry Mr. Burris, but we removed the 'Colored Section' in the Senate chamber back in the 1960's, therefore, there is not place for you to sit".The Democrats show their true colors in the new millenium. The more that changes, the more stays the same.
Personally, I believe under the circumstances that he should be seated.
