Do you bring a translator who whispers in one ear or a conservative/partisan dictionary and spend the meeting flipping pages?
If you have ever been to the San Fernando group, you’d know they are traditional Republicans, not like the ones we’ve got in Washington
Wow, I really admire you guys. It must be hell to be a conservative in the People’s Republic of California. How do you maintain your sanity surrounded by all those crackpots and fruitcakes?
Not all of California is like the Hollyweird crowd or the nutjobs around San Francisco.
Then the GOP let Chavez steal an election from B1 Bob Dornan and it all went downhill from there.
There are still a great deal of Conservatives here in California.
We work, so aren't available for events as much as the liberals are.
fyi
“How do you maintain your sanity surrounded by all those crackpots and fruitcakes?”
I don’t know. How’s the doublewide suiting you?
LOL!
So...any report:?
Would be able to make daytime meetings...if not too far away...I am near Los Alamitos...far NW Orange county.
Geez, Bob, must you always respond in such a manner? The guy wasn’t trying to be mean.
I don’t see why, at times, you act a bit hypocritical. You post degrading comments about religious voters, treat FReepers like they’re trailer trash (as if there is anything wrong with people who live in trailers; they’re just economically disadvantaged), and call many FReepers the equivalent of children when you complain about the sandbox (or playground; can’t remember which word you used) that you believe this site has become. At the same time, you seem to become remarkably offended when anyone posts a comment that violates your own sense of good taste or moral values.
Please note that I do not question or challenge your background or history on this site. Nor do I actually disagree with you that much on a variety of points you’ve made over the years. And, in terms of cultural background, we are probably pretty similar. However, I do think you’ve forgotten that bit about honey and vinegar. Given the current composition of this site (which perhaps doesn’t lean in a way you desire), I think your posts would be far more effective in changing minds if you remembered that from time to time.

That being said, you folks in Cali have alot more “doublewides” than we have in TX. Of course, your economy is so far in the crapper, and your taxes are so high, that you can't AFFORD a “doublewide” anyway.
So quite spewing the typical “Cali is superior” garbage. Your state may have been idyllic in the 50’s, but you are delusional if you think that is the case now. California is toast.
Enjoy your gang bangers, illegal alien invasion, sky-high taxation, and militant homosexuality (not to mention the run of the mill liberal fruitcakes and nuts),while you try to put some money aside to get the hell out of that hellhole. Maybe you can even find someone who actually speaks English to show you the way out.
God bless you brother, you are most definitely going to need it.
“Pal, I’ve been to your *glorious* state about a million times and I think they should put a fence around the entire place and sell tickets as a freak show.’
Only an ignorant boob would stereotype the whole state based on Hollywood and Pelosi’s San Francisco. What excuse do you have for Austin?
BTW - I’m a Wyoming resident.
