Not really. I think it makes us look bad here when people post that quote, because he was referring to domestic immigrants who were worried about being abused after 9/11. When I see it posted on FR, it usually implies that he plans to side with the Muslims against the best interests of the US. In this case, it implies that he will side with them against the Jews.
I don't trust Obama, but I disapprove of people spreading falsehoods about him.
and I'm talking about how the terrorist muslims might interpret that statement.
for someone who said 'words have meanings' it seems to me that was very dangerous, thoughtless statement to make.
0bama spreads enough falsehoods about himself anyway. He’s also said (sorry, don’t have quote) that he wants to call all the Muslim leaders and meet with them to figure out how to make it so they don’t hate the US as much.
That in itself is entirely damning, no need for anyone to spice it up.
