There is a mosque on the upper East Side (in the high nineties iirc). Right now (12:05 ET) there are probably in excess of 100 cabbies inside doing their daily worship. Their cabs are probably three deep around the block.

I was asked once to write a NYC attack scenarios (by US Army CID of all people). One involved taxis and the ubiquitious hotdog/pretzel/coffee carts. There are hundreds of these carts scattered in the most crowded areas. They are invisible. They are 700 pounds of metal and plexi-glass (add 300 pounds of ball bearings for game-day). They already carry propane. They are already in Manhattan. They are almost exclusively muslim run.

An attack of the coffee carts would cripple NYC for a decade.
