Media Matters has examined a copy of Ann Coulter's new book, Guilty, and presents a sampling of the book's numerous falsehoods. These falsehoods include her defense of claims made against Sen. John Kerry by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth; her assertion that "Fox News has never been caught promoting a fraud"; and her claim that President-elect Barack Obama was referring to Gov. Sarah Palin when he said "you know, you can put lipstick on a pig; it's still a pig."Swift Boat Vets were right, Kerry is a trump. I can't speak for the Fox News claim, not enough context, but the first presumption would be against "Media Matters" -- they are propagandists and slander purveyors. And it's clear from the poltical context at the time of his statement that cad Obama was slamming Palin with that vile remark.
Congratulations to Ann! You ROCK!!! I like her even more! Now I HAVE to go buy her books...who’s got a favorite to recommend?

Amazing. This would be the same “network” that gave Michael Moore and Kitty Kelley a week of interviews each to promote their scurulous projects “Fahrenheit 9/11” and libelous biography of George Bush. This would be the same network that cuts a check to that malicious piece of scum Keith Olberman.
Yeah...they sure got standards. Okay, well no Annie? Fine. Every conservative politician should refuse Hardball and Meet and Press and refuse questions by NBC reporters.
Media Matters needs to be investigated and soon.

Don’t forget about Bill Maher. Maher is one of the most controversial liberals (and assholes) on TV, if you ask me. But is he banned from NBC? Of course not.

Categorically incorrect. NBC's today is perennially the highest rated morning show. People do watch and those people also vote.
The "Mainstream Media Deathwatch" that is chanted so often and with such passion here is powerfully premature. Republicans and conservatives that think that the MSM doesn't have incredible power (more power than at any other time in the history of electronic media)do so at their own peril.
The MSM selected, promoted and carried Barack Obama across the finish line. Without them, he wouldn't have been elected (even with an $800 million war chest). The fact that Ann Coulter is banned is a bad, bad event. Who's next? Soon, only conservatives that liberals approve of will have a voice on broadcast television.
This is a horrible sign for the continuation of the republic.
