I think Dana Point is near Costa Mesa, Orange County. I could be wrong because I live in NY.

It’s at the southern end of Orange country, California. I used to live just south of there in San Clemente (also the old abode of Richard Nixon).

Dana Point????? Where the heck is that? I grew up in SoCal. Dana Point and surrounding areas used to be just lovely. Pristine beaches, very attractive homes, away from the masses of beach goers who preferred San Diego (to the south) or Newport Beach/Huntington Beach (to the north). I left CA years ago and now, sadly, it sounds like this area isn't even nearly what it used to be.

It looks more like Capistrano Beach where the Coast Highway, Interstate 5, and Camino Capistrano meet just south of Dana Point.
I think this is where the poor, misunderstood, just trying to feed their families, undocuumented immigrants try to get some good old day labor jobs.
