Utah is the number ONE team, the rest of the
bowl games are just junk!
After watching their performance tonight I'd have to say you're RIGHT.
The ONLY UNDEFEATED team in college football were very impressive.
Alabama claims National Championship.
Sooners would beat Utah by 50 points.
Do you really think Utah could beat USC?
When Bama lost their number one ranking and the game to Florida, it was over for them.
Saban warned that it would be difficult for them to get up emotionally for the game...talk radio in Alabama reported how the fans and players did not care about this bowl game...
You see this often in college football...when a team believes it is going to be playing for the national title and then loses...drops down to fourth place...there is nothing to play for.
I do not suggest that Utah is not a good team...althougth a 25-23 win over Michigan, a 13-10 win over New Mexico, and a 37-21 win over Weber State are not the stuff of legend.
Bama was flat as a pancake...they didn’t care about that game...the coaches warned that it might be that way...
The BCS is an embarassment...Utah certainly should be one of the teams in a playoff system....but they would not have made it through the buzz saw of a playoff system...no WEBER STATE or New Mexico on that slate..
