There, Burris, whom embattled Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich appointed to succeed President-elect Barack Obama in the Senate on Tuesday, has erected a granite mausoleum listing his many accomplishments.
Under the seal of the state of Illinois and the words "Trail Blazer," Burris, 71, has listed his many firsts in granite, including being the state's first African-American attorney general and the state's first African-American comptroller.

Looks like a granite outhouse.
Would the last sane man in Chicago please say aye...*crickets*
"Some freepers have been googling Roland Burris and asking about this little tidbit. Yes, this is his tomb. Yes, he is still alive. Our Junior Senator designate Roland Burris has had a mausoleum already built dedicated to himself, with space available to fill in future "accomplishments" Maybe this is Blago's way of appealing to one of the most important RAT constituencies: the cemetery votes."
And why the heck would Blago appoint a corpse to a U.S. Senate vacancy? Corpses aren't eligible for the office. That's why the Dem governor of Missouri installed Jean Carnahan to the Senate after he deceased husband was elected.
I clicked on the link - thanks! Does that mean Roland Burris is still dead?
Don't even ask the shape of Burris' erect tombstone (snicker).
" I, myself, have done nothing wrong---but these two
guys are real Chicago lowlifes. Burris is gonna make
a great US Senate p***k."
