WASHINGTON AirTran Airways apologized Friday to nine Muslims kicked off a New Year's Day flight to Florida after other passengers reported hearing a suspicious remark about airplane security. One of the passengers said the confusion started at Reagan National Airport just outside Washington, D.C., when he talked about the safest place to sit on an airplane.

What did they do that do that for!!!!! And to think I almost sent them a “way to go” email.
I believe in airline safety.
I also trust ElAl airlines and their security policies, too.
so when will airlines here get over themselves and stop freakin’ apologizing!!
Caving in to these people sets the stage later for more trouble. You can bet now some lawyer will file suit since Air Tran has admitted their guilt. Major mistake for Air Tran.
Never ever apologize.
CAIR will be salivating at the settlement, I’m sure.
How many innocent people are offended by being groped by some private-sector reject at the security check in?
I'm with you on this.
I'd rather them error on the concern for the safety of the majority of the passengers than to ignore what could have been, if not a fatal decision, at least a decision that would have made the other passengers awfully uncomfortable.
Good grief...
even though insured for such incidents, and the airline will settle out of court to save the high cost of litigation. (the cowardly way out)
Lets send them a note to let them know how disappointed we are, I am.

Agreed, the Muslims should be apologizing for all the terrorists that operate under the unbrella of their faith and that their faith hasn’t done more to stop terrorism.
Of course... GMAFB!
PC will be the death of us all one day.
Muslim payday.
I just sent them this:
“I just finished an AirTran flight where, as you well know, I had to remove my shoes, carry no liquids in more than 3 oz. quantities, and guard my discussions with my wife even in normal conversations. All of this is because Islamic radicals have seen fit to test airline security and attempt destruction of aircraft over several years. I do not believe the passengers that were put off based on their comments deserved an apology. According to the reports I’ve read, they pushed the limits of acceptable conversation beyond what is reasonable in these times. Please do not give in to the legal jihad that is being attempted. Stand your ground on safety and security issues so that we are not put at risk again.”
Yours was a much more measured note. I had to let loose and
tell them I’m not happy they caved in to the wishes of those
that would just as soon fly their jets into their buildings
without remorse.
I couldn’t hold my temper. I did keep it civil, and didn’t
threaten, but they KNOW I’m not happy with them. LOL
Guess what Muslims We don’t trust you. Why should we? Give us a reason. Trust is earned.
They don’t care. The only thing you need to do is to never fly AirTran ever again. Sounds like a Vietnamese airline, anyway!
Kudos.
& here’s another thought —the MSM does airline security a total disservice to security itself by publishing non-news,you know why? the airlines are freakin’afraid of getting sued, that’s what really s**ks,’cause the next thing you know-CAIR is right onboard!
